Hi everyone,
You may have already noticed that our latest phase of construction has started on site at Layer Water Treatment Works, and we wanted to let you know about some essential upcoming work that will increase our road usage in your area for a period of two weeks starting from Monday, 16th June 2025.
Additional lorry traffic on the highway will take place between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, with up to two lorries an hour. You may experience an increase in noise levels, however, please be assured that we’re working to do all we can to minimise any disruption for you and your community during this period.
Furthermore, there will be two days at the end of July, beginning of August, when there will again be heavy traffic. Please refer to our community hub https://communityhub.eswater.co.uk/en-GB/projects/layer-mecana-filters nearer the time for more exact details.
