Hi everyone,
Following a highly productive summer, we have made significant progress on the Layer scheme. Several key milestones have been reached:
1. The concrete base for the new filters have been laid.
2. Underground large diameter pipe work has been completed.
3. Cable trough work for power supply has been done.
4. The first phase of above ground pipework is complete.
5. First phase of the steel support structure is in place.
The filters arrived and are in place, and the new Mecana filter tank has been successfully delivered to site and lifted into position. Our programme continues with the installation of the new inlet tank, overflow tanks and the continuation of further construction of the pipework.
