Hi everyone,
We just wanted to keep you updated regarding the silt matting in the ditch.
Following a review with the Environment Agency, we will be retaining some silt matting within the ditch systems to help capture any remaining iron deposits.
On Wednesday 30 July, the majority of the existing matting will be removed. We will then install new matting at two final locations, which will remain in place until Autumn. These final positions have been carefully selected to ensure there is no increased flood risk through the village.
We will continue to regularly monitor the condition of the matting until its final removal later in the year.

A section of portable fencing has been left propped up against railings next to ditch on Mill Road Holton for several days now . Please remove this as soon as possible - unsightly & potentially dangerous !
