Project Update 26/02/2026

Good morning,

Following the completion of the two “under pressure” connections last week, work continues to press ahead in the final stages of our water main diversion project at Gallows Corner.

Further work is taking place on the connections between the stretches of pipework that will ultimately comprise the new main, including at either end of the section where we tunnelled beneath existing utilities and structures. Once those connections are done, the pits at either end will start to be re-filled.

As we continue to make progress in line with the revised programme, we will keep you updated.
