Project Update 29/10/2025

Hi everyone,

As of this week, we have successfully installed 2,000 metres of new 250mm diameter water main. The vast majority of this has been laid within the field edge.

We are currently working on the one section where installation in the roadway was unavoidable—specifically in Latchingdon, between the Steeple Road/Burnham Road roundabout and just past Lawlinge Road, where the route re-enters the field. This section, which requires a road closure, is progressing well and remains on track for completion by the planned end date of 7th November. We are also working hard to complete this section ahead of schedule, if feasible.

Following completion of the road closure section, the road will re-open and our focus will then shift back to the remaining pipe installation within the field, as we begin to approach the connection into the existing water network near Mayland.
