Hello everyone
Work on Phase 2 of the Mellis Road pipe replacement project is progressing as planned.
This phase runs from Monday 20 July to Monday 31 August 2026, covering the stretch from Mellis Railway Tavern to Judas Lane, including the temporary closure of Thrandeston Road during this period.
Our teams are currently installing new, more resilient water pipes to help reduce the risk of future bursts and ensure a reliable supply for customers.
To keep everyone safe while we work, a full road closure remains in place. Access for residents is being maintained where possible, and diversion routes are signposted. We appreciate your patience while these essential upgrades take place.
