Traffic Management Update – May 2026

Hi everyone,

We are moving into the next phase of our works in Fressingfield, which includes a hard closure at the War Memorial. This means access arrangements will temporarily change:

• The Swan – access via the War Memorial
• The Fox & Goose – access via Jubilee Corner
• Gatemen are positioned on site to support residents, businesses and deliveries
• Harleston Hill remains closed while works continue
• No construction is currently taking place between the War Memorial and Mill Road, but plant movements will continue, so speed restrictions remain in place

These arrangements are expected to remain in place until 20 July. Further updates will be issued ahead of the works at Jubilee Corner.

We are aware of increased traffic on Church Street and Cratfield Road. “Unsuitable for diversion route” signage will be installed to help manage this.

Residents within the next phase of the closure will receive updated letters and access passes.
