Aveley Water Pipe Replacement

The Aveley water pipe replacement project is a major investment to strengthen the resilience and performance of your local water network. Around 5km of ageing water pipes will be replaced with modern plastic pipes with new valves to improve water quality, reduce leakage and lower the risk of bursts.

By renewing the water pipes, we will be able to improve the reliability of your water supply and provide a long-term solution to the bursts mains and leaks you have been experiencing.

I am Daren Still, Essex & Suffolk Water’s Project Manager and I will be looking after this scheme through to its completion. The scheme will be delivered by Essex & Suffolk Water’s delivery partner, Lowmans.Starting June 2026, we will be carrying out construction works in Aveley to improve the water reliability and reducing the likelihood of future burst mains and any interruption to supplies.As the project develops, I will keep you informed about our plans and progress by sharing our proposals with you on this portal.
