Hanningfield Reservoir

Hanningfield Reservoir is a key water source in Essex, supplying all raw water to Hanningfield Water Treatment Works, one of the most critical sites in our region.

The current system that helps mix and oxygenate the water was installed in 1992 and has supported our operations reliably for many years. As technology has advanced, newer systems offer improved performance, so we are now upgrading this equipment. This will help us continue to provide a dependable, high-quality water supply. The new system will enhance how the water is managed before treatment, supporting consistent water quality and enabling our treatment processes to operate even more effectively
