Holton Valley Farm Bungay Road

Essex & Suffolk Water are carrying out some Groundwater source investigation works near to Holton Village. These investigation works, involving drilling and testing of a new Groundwater Borehole, are within the field we already own off of Bungay Road. This essential investigatory works will help to inform our future investment and any further work we may carry out on the water supply network. This will help ensure that our existing water supply network remains resilient in the future and that we continue to supply our existing customers in the area with great tasting tap water.

We are pleased to share that the first stage of our groundwater borehole project has now been successfully completed. This initial stage focused on essential preparation and investigation works, which will help us to better understand the local groundwater conditions and ensure that the next stages of the project are delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption.

At this time, there are no further works planned for the remainder of the year. Once the plans for the next stage have been confirmed, we will provide a further update to keep you fully informed.
