Mundon Pipe Renewal

Project Overview

The Mundon pipe renewal project is a £2 million investment to improve the reliability of the local water network.

We're replacing around 5km of older water mains along parts of Blind Lane, New Hall Lane, Mundon Road and Fambridge Road with new plastic pipes and valves. This work will help improve water quality, reduce leaks and lower the risk of burst pipes.

To minimise disruption, especially for local and seasonal businesses, the work has been scheduled outside the busy summer period.

Once complete, these upgrades will provide a more reliable water supply and help prevent the bursts and leaks that have affected the area in the past.
