Reckford Road Water Pipe Upgrade

Project Overview

We are investing £640,000 to upgrade 1.7km of water pipes on Reckford Road in Westleton.

This essential work will help provide a more reliable water supply for the future. The current water pipes are increasingly vulnerable to bursts, and this investment will help reduce the risk of disruption for customers.

To complete the work safely, a full road closure will be required on Reckford Road, from Rectory Road to the Westleton layby. Access to homes will always be maintained throughout the project.

To support the local community, Reckford Road will be fully reopened for Christmas between Friday 18 December 2026 – Saturday 2 January 2027.

These dates are intended as a guide and may change depending on how the work progresses. We’ll keep you informed with any updates throughout the project.

Working Hours

Our working hours are 7.30am-6.30pm, Monday to Friday. Some weekend work may be needed at certain stages of the project, particularly for reinstatement work.
