Middleton Road Water Main Diversion Works

We wanted to let you know about essential work in your area. Whilst works to the roads are being carried out for the Sizewell C project, we are carrying out diversion works to the water main at the same time.

This will involve excavating sections of the road along Middleton Road, Yoxford in Suffolk and will reduce the risk of any damage caused to the existing water main, ensuring reliability of the water supply in the area. You may have already noticed construction work in the field.

Community Hub Admin Team 4 months ago Hi everyone,We made good progress last week and are working to plan. We are restarting our night time road closures on Middleton Road tonight and will continue for four consecutive nights. Start time: 8pm, finish time: 5am. What to expect: Work will be undertaken at night to minimize disruption to our customers and road users. Our working hours will be between 8pm and 5am, Monday to Saturday. There may be an increase in noise levels during our working hours. We will do all we can to minimize disruption. Road closures will be required to allow works to be undertaken safely. Diversion routes will be in place and clearly signposted.
