Yaxley Mellis Road Water Pipe Upgrade

Project Overview

At Essex & Suffolk Water (ESW) we are working on a project at Mellis Road, Yaxley. The project involves the upgrade of the current water pipe.

We have planned to start the Mellis Road project on the 29th June, lasting approximately 16 weeks.

The work involves the installation of approximately 2.4km water pipes. Some drilling will be required, so to minimise disruption particularly in sensitive areas, these activities will be scheduled during the school holidays to reduce impact.

Works on private land will be carried out separately from the main programme to help us deliver the work more efficiently and avoid extending the road closure.
