Project Overview

Essex & Suffolk Water is developing the Suffolk Water Recycling Transfer & Storage (SWRTS) Project to help secure resilient, sustainable water supplies for Suffolk and the wider region.

The Project includes proposals for:

Advanced water recycling infrastructure

New underground water transfer pipelines

Strategic water storage infrastructure

Associated network improvements

The Project is being developed as a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) and is expected to be submitted through the Development Consent Order (DCO) process.
